1. Bill Gates- net worth $79.6 billion
Bill Gates is not only the man behind the Microsoft brand; but he is also a Business Leader, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and Motivational Speaker. Microsoft is a well-known establishment known for the famous X-Box, Internet Explorer, Skype and many more. Microsoft has earned in 2015 so far, a grand total of $93.58 billion. Most computers you know, even accessories and even if you’ve decided to upgrade now to an Apple Mac, all started as Microsoft. It is fair to say that Bill Gates has completely revolutionized the world of technology and computing.

Now, if the names Bill Gates or Richard Branson; automatically, we can shout out connotations like Microsoft or Virgin! But Warren Buffett doesn’t really have that same effect. But what about 20th Century Fox? Everyone has probably heard about that before, right? Well, Warren Buffett is the man behind that. He is also the chairman, CEO and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway and has a major influence on the famous conglomerate IBM. He has consistently been ranked one of the most influential people in the world.

Jeff Bezos is the founder and CEO of Amazon. Now everybody has heard of Amazon; an e-commerce company similar to that of Ebay. This year so far, in July; Amazon generated a better-than-expected profit of $92m. And that was in July. Can you imagine now? Bezos was a regular guy, just like everybody else; he went to university, got a degree in Bachelor of Arts/Science and earlier this year, he bought the Washington Post for $250 million. It’s fair to say that Bezos has applied himself.

He is commonly famous for his great intellectual qualities he used to create one of the most famous avenues of social media known as Facebook. As of the third quarter of 2015, Facebook has 1.55 billion monthly active users. Everybody is on Facebook! You can even sign up to new accounts, apps and services with a Facebook account. Even in some application forms or job interviews, they ask if you are signed up to Facebook! You could probably say that Zuckerberg kick-started the sphere of social media. And guess what? He’s only 31! There’s got to be some useful tips he has for us.

Larry Page is the co-founder, along with Sergey Brin, of the search engine famously coined as Google. Everybody uses Google! It’s our homepage, it’s our commonly used search engine, we access our emails via Google, Google is now an option on Samsung devices. Google is everywhere! If there’s something you don’t know, something you’d like to find out about; ask Google, it knows everything!
But it’s not just Google as a search engine, there is more to it than that. Just to name a few: Google Chromecast, Google AdWords, Google Chrome, Google Chrome OS, Google Maps etc.

Now, the thing that stands out the most about this man is his surname. So as you probably would have guessed, Michael S. Dell is the founder of the famous Dell brand; Dell computers, Dell keyboards, Dell mouse etc. Most computer screens we use are Dell products (unless you’ve been graced enough to upgrade to a Apple Computer), Dell is all we had back in the day. This company was first called PC’s Limited and has been running since 1984 (just not under that name). Accolades for Michael S. Dell include “Entrepreneur of the Year” (at age 24) from Inc. magazine; “Top CEO in American Business” from Worth magazine; “CEO of the Year” from Financial World, Industry Week and Chief Executive magazines. His name is not as famous as those above him; probably because his field of expertise is not beneficial and does not interest every one. PayPal gives us another option to pay for things online. Primary and Secondary Schools have changed the option of paying for school dinners via cash to now online through PayPal. So, we’ve mentioned Jeff Bezos as the owner and founder of Amazon. But there’s always competition. So, who is the other famous e-commerce company? eBay! Pierre Morad Omidyar is an entrepreneur and also a philanthropist but he is also the founder of the famous eBay. eBay is worth $68.9 billion, clearly the business is doing extremely well. But he hasn’t stopped there. Omidyar has branched out into other sectors:

Richard Branson has been famous for a long time. He is truly a testament of how you can be at the bottom and push yourself to get to the top. He was a school-drop out, not doing very well in education and now he is the founder of Virgin Group which comprises of over 400 companies.
