PJ’s Community Service is an Award winning Social Enterprise which delivers quality Care Services to vulnerable adults, Education & Support to young people that are at risk of exclusion, Training & Consultancy to organisations, groups and individuals on Leadership, Personal development and Social Enterprise.

With over 25 years experience our team are committed to delivering first class care. Staff are trained in safeguarding & have a wealth of experience in social care settings including children & family, residential youth, semiindependent, mental health & vulnerable adults.

Since our partnership the number of exclusions have decreased and we have not permanently excluded a single pupil in the last academic year. Last year we got the best GCSE results the school has ever achieved (84% 5 A* – C in all subjects) which is due in part to the contribution that PJ’s have made.

What is a Social Enterprise?

According to Social Enterprise UK, social enterprises: A social enterprise is a business that trades for a social and/or environmental purpose. It will have a clear sense of its ‘social mission’: which means it will know what difference it is trying to make, who it aims to help, and how it plans to do it. It will bring in most or all of its income through selling goods or services. It will also have clear rules about what it does with its profits, reinvesting these to further the ‘social mission’.
